Gadhada II-9: Conviction of God; Realizing God to be like Other Avatārs Is Blasphemy

April 1, 1974. On the 194th birthday celebration of Shriji Maharaj, Swamishri explained Vachanamrut Gadhada II-9, “One should not sway in understanding the form of God. God is the all-doer, supreme, possesses a definite divine form, and always present - that understanding is complete. If one believes he is non-manifest, that is equivalent to believing he is formless. Just as one becomes happy gaining money, one should experience the same joy and ecstasy attaining God. After someone dies, the Garud-Puran is read. Do we want to go to Garud’s dhām? Amoghanand Swami understood Shriji Maharaj to be Ram so he went to Vaikunth. One who has firm swarup-nishthā will not enter the cycle of births and deaths and will not have to be born through the womb. He goes to God’s dhām. Shriji Maharaj is sitting right there and he himself is explaining this; so his talks are first-hand.”

૧૯૭૪. તા. ૧/૪ના રોજ આવેલ શ્રીજીમહારાજની ૧૯૪મી જન્મજયંતીના દિવસે સ્વામીશ્રીએ ગઢડા મધ્ય પ્રકરણના નવમા વચનામૃત પર કથા કરતાં જણાવ્યું કે: “ભગવાનના સ્વરૂપમાં આઘુંપાછું ન થવા દેવું. ભગવાન કર્તા, સર્વોપરી, સાકાર, પ્રગટ સમજાય તો સંપૂર્ણ સમજણ. પરોક્ષ માને તો પણ નિરાકાર માન્યા ગણાય. પૈસાની પ્રાપ્તિનો આનંદ આવે તેમ ભગવાનનું સ્વરૂપ મળ્યું છે તેનો આનંદ, કેફ રહે એ પ્રાપ્તિ. કોઈ મરે પછી ગરુડપુરાણ વંચાવે છે. શું ગરુડના ધામમાં જવું છે? અમોઘાનંદ સ્વામીએ શ્રીજીમહારાજને રામ જેવા જાણ્યા તો વૈકુંઠમાં ગયા. સ્વરૂપનિષ્ઠા હોય તેને લખચોરાશી, ગર્ભવાસમાં જવાનું નથી. તે ભગવાનના ધામમાં જાય છે. શ્રીજીમહારાજ બેઠા ને પોતે સમજાવે છે તે મૂર્તિમાન વાત.”
