Summary
- Characteristics of the Satpurush:
- Has no affection for the pleasures of this world.
- Desires only for the adobe of God.
- For those who associate with him, only wishes that they eradicate desires for this world and develop affection for God.
- All of the efforts the Satpurush makes are only for acquiring bliss after attaining the abode of God after death.
- Only when one understands the virtues of the Satpurush this way are they acquired by one:
- Realise the Satpurush to be a form of God – i.e. maintain divinity in the Satpurush.
- Trust the words of the Satpurush.
- Imbibe the virtues of a Satpurush and forsake one’s flaws by feeling remorse.
- One who perceives countless types of flaws in the Satpurush never acquires the virtues of the Satpurush.
