Jetalpur-4: Liberation through Faith in the Manifest form of God

Summary

  1. The jiva is liberated by faith in the manifest form of God, His darshan and His constant remembrance.
  2. Even if one has constant remembrance of God, if one not observe the codes of dharma, then:
  1. He does not become an ekāntik bhakta.
  2. He does not attain God’s abode.
  3. He cannot stay in the Satsang fellowship.
  1. The greatness of the Sant who observes niyams and dharma:
  1. By sincerely feeding such a Sant, one earns the merits of performing millions of sacrifices and will ultimately attain liberation.
  2. By touching his feet, sins committed in millions of past lives are destroyed.
  3. By offering him clothes, one will attain ultimate liberation.
  4. Each river or lake he dips his feet becomes a place of pilgrimage.
  5. Any tree that he sits under or eats the fruit of will benefit greatly.
  6. By devoutly doing his darshan or bowing down to him, all sins are destroyed.
  7. Whomever he talks to or inspires to observe niyams will attain liberation.
  8. Since such a Sant has refuge in the manifest form of God, all his activities are redemptive.
  1. So that one may experience the bliss of the manifest form of God, God suppresses one’s powers; therefore, māyik gunas still remain in a devotee of God.
  2. Even if one has animosity toward God, if all of his vruttis are focused on the form of God, only then he is liberated. However, to worship God with bhakti is the best.
