Vartal-5: One Should Not Perceive Māyā in God; Performing Similar Service
Summary
- One who has the firm conviction of God having realised God transcends māyā, then he also becomes devoid of māyik qualities and transcends māyā.
- A devotee who has sought total refuge of God:
- Abandons all other forms of dharma and accepts the refuge of God only.
- Even if he were to experience pain equivalent to that of final dissolution, would not believe anyone else to be his guardian against such misery except God.
- Does not consider anyone but God to be the source of happiness.
- Behaves only according to the wishes of God.
- One who does not have complete refuge of God:
- His deceit can be recognized only after staying and working together with him.
- He would not be able to tolerate the pressure of living with the fellowships of devotees.
- If one serves God and his ideal Sant with utmost love, then if he were to be liberated after one hundred lives, he would instead be liberated in this very life.
