Loya-18: Conviction of God

Summary

1. When a devotee who meditates on the manifest form of God goes to the abode of God, then he sees God in His original form but not the various forms God assumes in Mrutyu-lok.
2. When God assumes an avatār, He does not abandon His original form. That original form is characterised by eternal existence, consciousness and bliss; possesses a form full of divine light; is the source of all bliss; and is the controller of all.
3. Perceiving divinity in God means:

1. One should believe God is divine along with his Dhām, powers, opulence and attendants.
2. God’s form is supremely divine; He does not have a trace of human traits.
3. One should perceive God as Purushottam, who transcends Akshar.
4. Only one who perceives such divinity in God is said to have complete conviction.

4. Perceiving human traits in God means:

1. Attributing lust, anger, and other feelings of the antahkaran to God.
2. Attributing birth, death, and other characteristics of the physical body to God.
3. One who perceives human traits in God without knowing His supreme divinity:

1. He repeatedly becomes upset and constantly perceives virtues and flaws.
2. Even if he appears to have conviction of God, his conviction if flawed.
3. His heart will regress day by day and he will surely fall from Satsang.

5. One should perceive divinity in devotees of God because they assume a divine form in God’s abode and become brahmarup.
6. Shriji Mahārāj’s insistence on this discourse about conviction:

1. Regardless of whether you realise this fact today or you realise it after a hundred years, it must be realised. There is no alternative but to realise it and imbibe it firmly.
2. One should discuss this principle of Mine at least once a day – that is My command.
