Jetalpur-1: Means to Transcend Māyā and Profound Attachment to the Sant

Samvat 2003, Sārangpur. Shāstriji Mahārāj was speaking to a group of sadhus when Sanātandās Swāmi asked, “In Jetalpur-1, it is mentioned: ‘āpopu karvu’. How does one do that?”

Swāmishri stood up from where he was sitting and sat in Sanātandās Swāmi’s lap and said, “Forget your body and believe yourself to be the form that is sitting in your lap.” In this way, Shāstriji Mahārāj gave everyone an unforgettable memory while explaining the meaning.

સંવત ૨૦૦૩, સારંગપુર. સવારે સંતમંડળની સભામાં શાસ્ત્રીજી મહારાજ વાતો કરતા હતા ત્યારે સનાતનદાસે પ્રશ્ન પૂછ્યો, “જેતલપુરના પહેલા વચનામૃતમાં આપોપું કરવાનું કહ્યું છે તે કેમ કરવું?” પછી સ્વામીશ્રી બેઠા હતા તે ઊભા થઈને તેમના ખોળામાં બેઠા અને કહ્યું, “તમારો દેહ છે તે ભૂલી જવું અને આ બેઠા છે તેને સ્વરૂપ માનવું.” એમ સૌને અલૌકિક સ્મૃતિ આપી સિદ્ધાંત સમજાવી દીધો.
