અન્ય પાત્રો
કબીર જ્ઞાની, ભક્ત, કવિ અને સુધારક પુરુષ હતા. તેમનો જન્મ પંદરમી સદીમાં કાશીમાં થયો હોવાનું મનાય છે. તેમણે સ્વામી રામાનંદને પોતાના ગુરુ બનાવ્યા અને સાધનાથી બહુ સારી ગતિ પ્રાપ્ત કરી. તેમણે કાશીમાં રહી નીડરતાથી ઘણા કડક શબ્દોથી તે સમયની સામાજિક બદીઓનું ખંડન કર્યું અને સાચો બોધ આપ્યો. તેમનો ઉત્તમ બોધ સાંભળી અસંખ્ય હિંદુ અને મુસલમાન એના શિષ્ય બન્યા. ભક્તિ સિવાય કશું યે કામનું નથી એ તેમનો સિદ્ધાંત હતો. કબીરની પાછળ શરૂ થયેલો પંથ કબીરપંથ કહેવાય છે. આજે પણ તેમના પંથના સાધુ લગભગ ભારતના બધા ભાગમાં જોવામાં આવે છે. ઈશ્વર એક જ છે એવા અદ્વૈત મતને આ પંથ અનુસરે છે. કબીરની ગાદી પર જે આવે તે બધા કબીર તરીકે ઓળખાય છે. આ પંથમાં પહેલાના કેટલાક કબીર નિરાકારના ઉપાસક હતા તથા મૂર્તિપૂજાના વિરોધી હતા, જ્યારે કેટલાક કબીર ભક્તિમાર્ગના પ્રવર્તક હતા.

Others
Kabir was a spiritual erudite, a bhakta, poet, and a reformer. It is believed he was born in the 15th century in Kāshi. He accepted Rāmānand Swāmi as his guru. By his spiritual endeavors, he reached a great spiritual height. He lived in Kāshi and fearlessly spoke against the immorality in the society with harsh words and directed it on the right path. Hearing his great preachings, many Hindus and Muslims became his disciples. His main principle was that nothing is useful other than bhakti of God. The sect that followed him is called Kabir-Panth. Even today, his followers are found in almost all parts of Bhārat. The sect believes in the advait principle that there is only one God. Whoever leads the sect is known as Kabir. In the past, many such Kabirs believed that God is formless and were against worshiping murtis. However, some were proponents of the path of devotion (i.e. murti-puja).
