ઈશ્વરો
વિષ્ણુ સૃષ્ટિના પ્રારંભે વિરાટ પુરુષના હૃદયમાંથી ઉત્પન્ન થયેલા, બ્રહ્માંડનું પાલન કરનાર, સત્ત્વગુણપ્રધાન દેવ છે. તેઓ તત્ત્વતઃ ઈશ્વરચૈતન્ય છે અને પરબ્રહ્મ પુરુષોત્તમ નારાયણના અનુપ્રવેશથી સામર્થ્ય પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે. તેમને નારાયણ પણ કહેવામાં આવે છે. તેમના ભક્તો વૈષ્ણવ કહેવાય છે. તેમનું વાહન ગરુડ છે. ચાર હાથમાં અનુક્રમે પાંચજન્ય શંખ, સુદર્શનચક્ર, કૌમોદકી ગદા, પદ્મ છે. તેમની છાતી ઉપર શ્રીવત્સ નામનાં ખાસ ચિહ્નો તથા કૌસ્તુભમણિ હોય છે.

Ishwars
During the creation process, Vishnu is born from the heart of Virat-Purush. He is the sustainer of the brahmānd. He is predominantly an ishwar possessing the sattva-gun quality. Of the five entities, he is an ishwar and acquires his powers when Parabrahman Purushottam enters him. He is also known as Narayan. His followers are known as Vaishnav. His vehicle is the Garud, the celestial bird. In his four arms, he holds a conch shell (called Panch-janya), the Sudarshan Chakra (a disc), a mace called Kaumodaki, and a padma (lotus). He bears the Shri Vatsa sign on his chest and a jewel called Kaustubhmani.
