Gadhadā III-39

16 January 1971, Gondal. A week prior to Yogiji Mahārāj passing away to dhām, he woke up in the early morning and suddenly said, “Read a Vachanāmrut.”

The attendant sadhu recited Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-39 as per the daily reading. Yogiji Mahārāj listened affectionately, while doing hand gestures at important phrases within the Vachanāmrut. Halfway through the Vachanāmrut, he suddenly said, “Iti Vachanāmrutam” and went back to sleep. Thereafter, no opportunity came for him to listen to the Vachanāmrut before he passed away to dhām. Therefore this is Yogiji Mahārāj’s sanctified Vachanāmrut. Throughout his entire life, he had narrated and discoursed on many Vachanāmruts, giving divine joy to all, but the last Vachanāmrut he listened to was Gadhadā III-39.

Yogiji Mahārāj said, “There are four types of auṣhadhi (herbal medicines): sandhinī, varṇaharaṇī, vishalyakarṇī and sanjīvanī. Their four forms: dharma, gnān, vairāgya and bhakti. The four respective Vachanāmruts: Gadhadā II-28, Loyā 7, Gadhadā III-39 and Gadhadā II-10; these four Vachanāmruts should be perfected.”

After having Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-39 recited, Gunātitānand Swāmi said, “What is mentioned in this Vachanāmrut should also be understood.”
