Gadhadā III-26

After leaving Vartāl in 1905 (Samvat 1962), Shāstriji Mahārāj celebrated the festival of Fāgan sud Punam at Keshavlāl Prāgji’s home in Ānand. Some 700-800 devotees had gathered for this historic festival. The historic decision to build the first mandir in Bochāsan was made; and Rs. 40,000 was collected within one hour. Eventually, Shāstriji Mahārāj had to stop collecting the pledges.

On this important occasion, after the fundraising for the mandir was complete, Swāmishri had Vachanāmrut Gadhadā III-26 read and discoursed on it.

Hearing these words, Motibhāi Bhagwāndās of Ānand decided: “I will travel with Swāmi to verify whether he possesses these attributes – only then will I understand him to be such a great Sant [as described in the Vachanāmrut].”
