દોહા
પુરુષોત્તમ પધારિયા, સર્વે અવતારના આધાર ।
અગણિત જીવ આ જગતના, તે સહુની લેવા સાર ॥૧॥
સ્થૂળ સૂક્ષ્મ જે જળે સ્થળે, જિયાં જિયાં રહ્યા’તા જન ।
તિયાં તિયાંથી તારિયા, આવી ભૂમિ પર ભગવન ॥૨॥
કોઈ પ્રકારનો પ્રાણધારી, પામિયા જે પ્રસંગ ।
તે સહુ સુખિયા થયા, ગયા અક્ષરે થૈ શુદ્ધ અંગ ॥૩॥
જેમ અર્કને ઊગવે કરી, રહે નહીં અણુએ અંધાર ।
તેમ સહજાનંદ સૂર્યથી, જન પામ્યા સુખ અપાર ॥૪॥
ચોપાઈ
બહુ અવતારના જે દાસ રે, તેની પૂરી કરવાને આશ રે ।
ધર્યું રૂપ અલૌકિક એવું રે, સહુને પૂજવા સેવવા જેવું રે ॥૫॥
સહુ લોકને આવિયો લાગ રે, મળ્યો મહાસુખ લેવાનો માગ રે ।
મત્સ્યાદિકના રહ્યા’તા મુંઝાઈ રે, સેવી સુખ લેવા મનમાંઈ રે ॥૬॥
તે સહુનું ઊઘાડિયું બાર રે, નાના મોટાનું એક જ વાર રે ।
લિયો લાવો દાવો ભલો આવ્યો રે, આવ્યો અવસર આજ મન ભાવ્યો રે ॥૭॥
જેવી સમૃદ્ધિ જેવી સામગરી રે, તેવે પૂજો પ્રસન્ન થાશે હરિ રે ।
અશન1 વસન ભૂષણે ભાવ ભરી રે, પૂજો ફળ ફૂલ મૂળ કંદે કરી રે ॥૮॥
જળ દળ2 જે જે કાંઈ મળે રે, પૂજો પૂજાશે આજ સઘળે રે ।
કુંકુમ કસ્તુરી કપૂર કેસર રે, અર્ઘ્ય3 અગર ચંદન અત્તર રે ॥૯॥
ધન ધાન્ય વૃક્ષ ને વાહને રે, ગાય ગવા4 મહિષી5 સદને6 રે ।
વાડી ખેત્ર વસુંધરા વળી રે, સેજ પલંગ પાથરણાં મળી રે ॥૧૦॥
ગાદી તકીયા ઓછાડ ઓસીસે રે, જે જે આપશો તે આજ લેશે રે ।
કમળનાળ ડોડા ડોડી પાન રે, લઈ રાજી થાશે ભગવાન રે ॥૧૧॥
દૂધ મધ દહીં મહી વળી રે, ઘી ગોળ શર્કરા7 ગળી રે ।
ઇક્ષુદંડ8 ખાંડ ને ખારેક રે, એહ આદી વસ્તુ જે અનેક રે ॥૧૨॥
પાન બીડી લવીંગ સોપારી રે, જાયફળ એલા તજ સારી રે ।
એહ આદિ જમવાનાં જેહ રે, આવે ઊત્તમ પૂજવામાં તેહ રે ॥૧૩॥
જે જે શુદ્ધ વસ્તુ સુખદાઈ રે, તે તે આવે સર્વે સેવામાંઈ રે ।
એવો આજનો છે અવતાર રે, સહુ જીવને સુખ દેનાર રે ॥૧૪॥
હળી મળી પાસે રહીયે રે, પગ પૂજી સ્પર્શી સુખ લૈયે રે ।
એમ સહુને બહુ સુગમ રે, થયા પોતે તે પૂરણ બ્રહ્મ રે ॥૧૫॥
સર્વે અવતારનો જે સંકોચ રે, ભાંગ્યો ભક્તનો ન રાખી પોચ9 રે ।
મત્સ્ય કચ્છ વરાહ નરસિંગ રે, તે તો મનુષ્યથી વિજાતિ અંગ રે ॥૧૬॥
સજાતિ વિના સુખ ન આવે રે, માટે નરપ્રભુ ભક્તને ભાવે રે ।
ધરે નરતન હોય નરેશ રે, તોય બહુને ન હોયે ઊપદેશ રે ॥૧૭॥
વિપ્ર ક્ષત્રિ ન સાંભળે વાત રે, વૈશ્ય શુદ્ર કરે વાત ઘાત રે ।
માટે આ જે લીધો અવતાર રે, શોધી સારતણું ઘણું સાર રે ॥૧૮॥
સૌને સુગમ અગમ નહિ અણું રે, સર્વે આગમે10 નિગમે11 ઘણું રે ।
થયા એવા પોતે પૂર્ણકામ રે, પૂરી સર્વે જીવની હામ રે ॥૧૯॥
તોય વળતું વિચાર્યું છે એમ રે, બહુ જીવ તે ઉદ્ધરે કેમ રે ।
દઈ દર્શન દોષ નિવારું રે, તેણે પામે પરમ ધામ મારું રે ॥૨૦॥

Dohā
Purushottama padhāriyā, sarve avatāranā ādhāra.
Aganita jiva ā jagatanā, te sahuni levā sāra... 1
Purushottam, the cause of all avatars, graded the earth. He came to take care of the countless jivas... 1
Sthula sukshma je jale sthale, jiyā jiyā rahyā’tā jana.
Tiyā tiyāthi tāriyā, āvi bhumipara bhagavana... 2
Physically and mentally, on water or on land, wherever people resided, Maharaj liberated the jivas wherever they were on the earth.... 2
Koi prakārano prānadhāri, pāmiyā je prasanga.
Te sahu sukhiyā thayā, gayā akshare thai shuddha anga... 3
Regardless of which type of body the jiva possessed, if they came in contact with Maharaj, they all attained happiness, were purified, and went to Akshardham.... 3
Jema arkane ugave kari, rahe nahi anue andhāra.
Tema Sahajānanda suryathi, jana pāmiyā sukha apāra... 4
Just as when the sun rises, even the slightest darkness does not remains; similarly, due to the brightness of Sahajanand Swami; people attained immense happiness.... 4
Chopāi
Bahu avatāranā je dāsa re, teni puri karavāne āsha re.
Dharyu rupa alaukika evu re, sahune pujavā sevavā jevu re... 5
To fulfill the wishes of the many devotees of previous avatars, Maharaj assumed a form which all can worship and serve... 5
Sahu lokane āviyo lāga re, malyo mahāsukha levāno māga re.
Matsyādikanā rahyā’tā munjhāi re, sevi sukha levā manamāi re... 6
Everyone has gained a valuable opportunity by getting the chance to attain great happiness. Devotees of the previous avatārs such as Matsya were frustrated that they were not be able to serve God... 6
Te sahunu ughādiyu bāra re, nānā motānu eka ja vāra re.
Liyo lāvo dāvo bhalo āvyo re, āvyo avasara āja mana bhāvyo re... 7
For these devotees, Maharaj opened the doors to liberation - for the young and the old at once. Take the opportunity of this auspicious moment and the occasion that has come today.... 7
Jevi samruddhi jevi sāmagari re, teve pujo prasanna thāshe hari re.
Ashana vasana bhushane bhāva bhari re, pujo fala fula mula kande kari re... 8
Maharaj will be pleased with your offerings, regardless of whatever wealth or material you may have. Offer him food, clothes, ornaments with love; even fruits, flowers or even roots of plants.... 8
Jala dala je je kāi male re, pujo pujāshe āja saghale re.
Kumkuma kasturi kapura kesara re, arghya agara chandana attara re... 9
Water, leaf, or a petal of flower - whatever you can find – worship him with such items as he will accept the worship. Offer Kumkum, musk (kasturi), camphor (kapur), saffron (kesar), scented sticks (agarbatti), sandalwood and fragrances.... 9
Dhana dhānya vruksha ne vāhane re, gāya gavā mahishi sadane re.
Vādi khetra vasundharā vali re, seja palanga pātharanā mali re... 10
Wealth, grains, trees and vehicles; cows, bullocks, buffalos, or one’s home… Moreover, gardens, farms, the earth; a humble cot or sheets. ... 10
Gādi takiyā ochāda osise re, je je āpasho te āja leshe re.
Kamala-nāla dodā dodi pāna re, lai rāji thāshe bhagavāna re... 11
A seat, bolsters, bedsheets, pillows; whatever you give he will accept today. Lotus-stem, bulbs, leaves; Maharaj will be happy accepting them... 11..
Dudha madha dahi mahi vali re, ghee gola sharkarā gali re.
Ikshu-danda khānda ne khāreka re, eha ādi vastu je aneka re... 12
Milk, honey, curd, ghee, jaggery and sugar cubes. Sugarcane, sugar and dried dates; and other similar items... 12
Pāna bidi lavinga sopāri re, jāyafala elā taja sari re.
Eha ādi jamavānā jeha re, āve uttama pujavāmā teha re... 13
Roll of fine betel-leaves, cloves, betelnuts, nutmeg, cardamom and cinnamon. And other such edible items are also the best in serving Maharaj... 13
Je je shuddha vastu sukhadāi re, te te āve sarve sevāmāi re.
Evo ājano chhe avatāra re, sahu jivane sukha denāra re... 14
And such other pure and great items are likewise useful in serving Maharaj. This is how great the avatār is today; the giver of happiness to all jivas... 14
Hali mali pāse rahiye re, paga puji sparshi sukha laiye re.
Ema sahune bahu sugama re, thayā pote te purana brahma re... 15
Let’s stay together with unity, by derive happiness by serving and touching his feet. To make it easy for all to worship him, Maharaj came as such (in human form)... 15
Sarve avatārano je sankocha re, bhāgyo bhaktaano na rākhi pocha re.
Matsya Kachchha Varāha Narasinga re, te to manushyathi vijāti anga re... 16
Maharaj resolved the devotees’ worries and doubts they had about other avatārs. Matsya, Kachchha, Varah and Nrusinha all assumed a form that was different from a man’s body... 16
Sajāti vinā sukha na āve re, māte nara-prabhu bhaktaane bhāve re.
Dhare naratana hoya naresha re, toya bahune na hoye upadesha re... 17
Happiness cannot be attained from having a body that is different to a human; therefore, the devotees prefer the human form of God. Even if God incarnated as a human, if he came as a king, even so many would not take benefit from his teachings. ... 17
Vipra kshatri na sāmbhale vāta re, vaishya shudra kare vāta ghāta re.
Māte ā je lidho avatāra re, shodhi sāratanu ghanu sāra re... 18
Brahmins and kshatriyas would not listen to his teachings, while the vaishyas and shudras would dismiss his talks. Hence he took this avatār; looking at the essence of the essence... 18
Saune sugama agama nahi anu re, sarve āgame nigame ghanu re.
Thayā evā pote purnakāma re, puri sarve jivani hāma re... 19
He has become easy to attain for all and not the slightest unreachable, even the scriptures like the Vedas. This is how easily attainable he became to fulfil the wishes of all jivas... 19
Toya valatu vichāryu chhe ema re, bahu jiva uddhare kema re.
Dai darshana dosha nivāru re, tene pāme parama dhāma māru re... 20
Yet, Maharaj thought it over once again: how can many more jivas be liberated? By giving darshan and destroying their falws, they shall attain my greatest abode, Akshardham... 20
