॥ શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણો વિજયતે ॥
॥ સત્સંગદીક્ષા ॥
मनुष्यो व्यसनी यः स्याद् निर्लज्जो व्यभिचारवान्।
तस्य सङ्गो न कर्तव्यः सत्सङ्गमाश्रितैर्जनैः॥ १८६॥
સત્સંગીજનોએ જે મનુષ્ય વ્યસની, નિર્લજ્જ તથા વ્યભિચારી હોય તેનો સંગ ન કરવો. (૧૮૬)
Satsangis should not associate with people who have addictions, are shameless or are adulterous. (186)
सङ्गश्चारित्र्यहीनायाः करणीयो नहि स्त्रियाः।
स्त्रीभिः स्वधर्मरक्षार्थं पाल्याश्च नियमा दृढम्॥ १८७॥
સ્ત્રીઓએ પોતાના ધર્મની રક્ષા માટે ચારિત્ર્યહીન સ્ત્રીનો સંગ ન કરવો અને દૃઢપણે નિયમોનું પાલન કરવું. (૧૮૭)
To protect one’s dharma, female devotees should not associate with immoral women and should firmly abide by the niyams. (187)
न तादृक्छृणुयाद् वाचं गीतं ग्रन्थं पठेन्न च।
पश्येन्न तादृशं दृश्यं यस्मात् कामविवर्धनम्॥ १८८॥
જેણે કરીને કામવાસના વૃદ્ધિ પામે તેવી વાતો કે ગીતો ન સાંભળવાં, પુસ્તકો ન વાંચવાં તથા તેવાં દૃશ્યો ન જોવાં. (૧૮૮)
One should not listen to talks or songs, read books or view scenes that increase one’s lustful desires. (188)
धनद्रव्यधरादीनां सदाऽऽदानप्रदानयोः।
नियमा लेखसाक्ष्यादेः पालनीया अवश्यतः॥ १८९॥
ધન, દ્રવ્ય તથા જમીન આદિના લેણ-દેણમાં હંમેશાં લિખિત કરવું, સાક્ષીએ સહિત કરવું ઇત્યાદિ નિયમો અવશ્યપણે પાળવા. (૧૮૯)
Transactions of wealth, possessions, land and other assets should always be conducted in writing, in the presence of a witness and by definitely following other such niyams. (189)
प्रसङ्गे व्यवहारस्य सम्बन्धिभिरपि स्वकैः।
लेखादिनियमाः पाल्याः सकलैराश्रितैर्जनैः॥ १९०॥
સર્વ આશ્રિત જનોએ પોતાના સંબંધીઓ સાથે પણ વ્યવહાર પ્રસંગે લિખિત કરવું ઇત્યાદિ નિયમો પાળવા. (૧૯૦)
All devotees should conduct their social dealings with even their relatives in writing and by following other such niyams. (190)
